Someone I care for has been screened for less intensive outpatient services. How can St. Joseph’s help?
St. Joseph’s serves residents of Franklin and Essex Counties at six outpatient services clinics. These clinics are currently located in Malone, Saranac Lake, Lake Placid (Mountain Lakes Academy), Elizabethtown, Keeseville and Ticonderoga.
At these clinics, we offer intensive case management, assessment, individual and group counseling addressing Early Recovery Skills, Recovery Issues, Relapse Prevention, Continuing Care and Co-Dependency. We also offer assessment, and individual and group counseling for Vocational Rehabilitation Services. Referrals for services based on clients’ needs to Medical Services, Mental Health/Psychiatric Services, Career/Employment/Educational, Financial Counseling, Legal Services, and Self Help & Recovery Groups are also available through the clinics.
We strongly emphasize a “team” approach, with the client being the primary participant in their “team”, and included in every aspect of treatment planning. St. Joseph’s Outpatient Clinics view the relationship with the client, family, and outpatient as a partnership.
In addition to the services offered at the Outpatient Clinics, we provide assessment, individual and group counseling addressing Early Recovery Skills, Recovery Issues, Relapse Prevention, Continuing Care and Co-Dependency, and after-care planning at the Franklin and Essex County Jails.
We are active members in both Franklin and Essex County Treatment Courts and Outpatient Services Boards.
Our admissions process is completely confidential and is dedicated to assisting those experiencing difficulties with alcohol and other substances. Prospective clients may call us on their own, or be referred by family, physicians, employers, health care agencies, school personnel, legal professionals, insurance companies and or private practitioners.
Treatment is covered by most third-party payers, health plans and Medicaid. However, in the event that a health care plan does not cover this level of care, a self-pay arrangement can be discussed and implemented based upon need. For admission, prospective clients may contact our Outpatient Services at firstname.lastname@example.org, call or walk in at the following outpatient clinics.
